One of the best puzzle games is now finally available as an App, including 108 brand new challenges. Launch the lifeboats, patrol the water and rescue all the passengers whove gone overboard! Titanic by SmartGames is a fascinating sliding puzzle with simple rules but with challenges that are surprisingly hard to solve.

"Titanic easily makes it onto the list of Best Puzzle Apps of 2012." - gottasolveit.blogspot.com

HOW TO PLAY
Move your lifeboats in such a way that all drowning passengers can climb in and be saved. When a sloop passes by someone in the water, the drowning man will of course save himself. It’s this aspect that makes the gameplay particularly interesting, because it requires strategic insight to see which passenger has to be picked up by which particular lifeboat AND in what order this should happen. This last part is crucial, as once the lifeboat is full it must remain anchored to the spot. So, from that moment on, the fully-boarded boat becomes an obstacle for other possible rescue work. This makes Titanic a constantly changing maze of people and boats.

ABOUT THE APP TITANIC (HD)
This App is based on the physical logic game "Titanic" from SmartGames and includes 108 new challenges and 4 levels of difficulty. There is also a lite version of this app with 21 free challenges. Rescuing passengers starts out ‘easy,’ but becomes the more and more difficult, until players reach the ‘extreme’ level.

ABOUT THE ORIGINAL TITANIC GAME
The original non-digital Titanic game was released in 2009 and comes with 6 lifeboats and 7 colored pawns for the passengers. The challenges are printed on challenge cards and remain visible through the “waves” of the 3D game board. All parts can be stored inside the game board. The original game has 48 challenges, all different from the challenges found in this App. Each challenge has only one possible end solution. If you like this App you will love the touch and feel of the original version too and vice versa.

Great thinking game!
Very well thought out single player game. The levels are surprising challenging and provides for hours of mental work out. Another excellent game from Smartgames - so much better than the many mindless video games out there.

This is a great and challenging game. I did the lite game first and then I bought it.
Awesome
I have original smart games. This is awesome.
Clever!
My family loves your games/puzzles, so we were excited to see this iOS version of Titanic. Very nice implementation! The game, as all your games, is challenging yet lots of fun. Perfect for adults or clever children (or for making clever children). ;) We hope to see more of your games on the App Store soon! Two suggestions: A replay button immediately after you have solved one puzzle would be nice to have instead of only having the option of going to the next puzzle. A direct button on the home screen to the rules/tutorial would be more natural than starting a game and then pausing it to bring up the Help menu.
Clever, and tough!
I agree with the other reviewers here. I like puzzle games, mostly because I appreciate the clever design, but this one gets to be tough, too! Admittedly, Im in the "Expert" levels now, but most games never really stump me. Its dry, not a lot of bells and whistles, just a basic set of rules and ever more difficult set-ups, but if you like challenging logic/reasoning games, get it.
